It's the dark kind of beauty that sticks with you, that awakens you in the night with its terror but makes you oh so much happier to be alive. There aren't many words to this song, but I feel like I know these characters and their story and I love them all the same. :)

I've always loved this song. It perfectly captures the sort of surreal dreamlike quality of the 4th of July. With everyone off for the holiday and shooting off fireworks with the smoke making the world look hazy. When it's in the middle of a school break and the novelty of having nothing to do all day has worn off and you're secretly starting to look forward to school and routine to start again. When youre young time kindve stops in the summer and you just sortve float through it. ❤️❤️❤️
