In this independent (not sponsored) video, Steve shows you how to install a Diode Dynamics "C1R" Hitchmount LED pod. This adds brake light, tail light, and reverse light functionality to your otherwise unused trailer hitch! If you have a tow-ready vehicle that you often don't tow anything with, this is going to be a great add-on! You just need to have a 2-inch trailer hitch receiver!

While I did buy this myself with Cars Simplified's money, I did get it during their 2022 Black Friday/Cyber Monday sale. I have an upsetting amount of parts from that time that I have yet to install. Since no one is reading this anyway, I'll spoil two of them: steel braided brake lines and a strut tower brace, both for the Crosstrek. I still need to install some rear Pedders spings that I bought for the GTO... maybe five years ago? It's bad.
