The Miami Cuban is such a classic

i got a plain franco 26 in 4 mm chain in 14 K from this man and put a custom pendant on it. i've had it for 4 months now, love it. was debating between mine and the 5 mm cuban link and heard franco is better for pendants. jaocoje is the real deal, fast replies, amazing videos, great price and the quality of chain! shout out from Canada

Great video for those torn between a cuban and a franco. If you want the pop and for people to notice your chain go cuban. If you want the subtleness, and still have a heavy chain, go for the franco.

@@amazinggrace313 i found the the sharp rounded cuts kinda ding up a little bit and lose that sharp edge. I've had the chain for a year and i also own a few others including a regular 2mm franco and the regular franco does not do what i just described. its also not a quality issue i just think its the nature of the chain and could very well apply to other types. I'm also a dude and i wear the 3mm daily and polish the chain every week or two, but like i said my other chains did not have the same wear like the 3mm franco did.

That's why Braden is the man. He cares about the customer. Jacoje Baby!!!

I have the 4mm Miami Cuban. It’s definitely smaller than expected and had issues with the pendant not fitting the box lock. Had to get a custom bail and ran me an extra 150. Recommend you go to a 5 or 6mm for the Cuban and avoid a pendant

SBLII I didn’t think the 4mm came with a box lock. I had to go up to 5mm for the box. And yeah it’s still smaller than expected but I went with 18k so it’s heavy. Couldn’t wear much more weight comfortably.

Hmm that's really just up to your own preference I have a 5mm 24inch rope with a pendant. I would however say that any rope under 3mm doesn't quite have that rope chain look. My friend had a 2mm and he had to buy a 3mm to get that proper look

I love Miami Cuban links, but not crazy that mine rolls and does not always lay flat. I know, it’s the nature of the beast on the smaller mm ones. That being said, would I be happier with a Franco? It has the Miami Cuban link look, but is more rounded and won’t have the rolling issue.

I agree with you on the pendants, I don’t even like to put pendants on my rope. The only ones I feel comfortable is Franco, rounded box and the best imo Byzantine. A diamond cut wheat looks sick too

Yea I have a 3mm franco chain 24in with medium sized jesus piece pendant and 3mm franco bracelet all from jacoje

The twist gets annoying with my 4.5 flat curb. Just have to reposition it. Love the look when it lays flat. Starting to like my rope more. Would like to add a Franco to the collection one of these days

I would love to see a video with different size pendants and different size chains. I know in the review of the pendants you go through each size and recommended chain sizes..I would like to see a little more in depth. Like a full size range of chains on different size pendants. For example..take the 5g Lady Fortuna. Show it on the full spectrum of chain widths. From the smallest to the biggest that you would recommend. Trust me, you do an AMAZING job showing a lot of combinations, but there are few gaps. This come from a DEFINITE future customer, I'm just trying to find the PERFECT combination

How are you digging the 4mm Miami Cuban?

Tough to decide. I think I’d like the roundness of the Franco but the Miami Cuban shows off the gold color really nice and rich whether yellow or rose. Hmm 🤔???

I think if the miami chain did not have enough room in bail to fold over it would sit much straighter then if you had a wide bale allowing it to fold. Untested thought.

What would you say is the most comfortable chain to wear ? I am super picky. Looking for something light and comfortable, something that you forget that you might be wearing and that looks classy and I can maybe put a small pendant on. I don’t wear a lot of chains so I want to get one that’s high quality and will drop nicely with a small pendant. Any suggestions ?

That the bail is wide enough but we're the chain would bang on the "cuban" the bail come to a smooth like 45 degree( triangle like bail) were the Cubans lay flat like they should? ( I Have) can dm n show u example if you'd like. Bc the problem you're speaking on with miami cuban link chains & the bail, I know exactly what you mean. Always a new/solution to what clients want. Francos better then cuban up till above 5mm. Then cubans are better. A 8mm franco I dont even think they make them but 8mm cuban is beautiful. Curb link is best over all and I have a 8mm cuban and a 3mm franco but for most people curb link best and Braden has the tightest curb links I ever seen!! Because the curb is lighter then cuban, cheaper but still have a great presence / full look.

@@bigjerm210ify I have a big neck, 18 inches. I didn’t think about that when I ordered it. I should have gotten a 22 inch. I sleep with it on, shower etc and it doesn’t give any problems. Rarely it might kink but a quick shake fixes it. The lack of slack may be why it doesn’t kink up a lot.

If you’re going for comfort Franco wins. I’ve had Cubans in the past and they are irritating as hell twisting all the time making you shrug your shoulders all the damn time 🤣. Franco is a better look but I find the 5mm too heavy to sleep with which sucks as I never want to take it off.
