So how do you feel about the sloppy spool 3rd gear leave. (Wonder if there is a way to make it shift from 3rd to 1st faster)

Since you have a D3 brake and a holley and this is the setup im considering i figured i'd ask. If you put it in manual mode and shift with the shifter is it fast like a FMVB or does it take a second to shift? I'm wanting to auto shift on the street with the holley and manual shift at the track by flipping that switch.

Can you not reverse manual or because of overdrive is it impossible

You mentioned you used a Holly to get into "Manuel Valve Body" what and how did you do that?

Set the upshift speeds to like 5mph and then use the shifter would probably work

Dbc or dbw ?

I wired my d3 to the reverse lights and micro switch in the shifter, so I don't even have to think about pressing a button for reverse. How do you have the Holley setup to go in manual mode with the flip of the switch?

Michael Kelley have a micro switch in my shifter that used to trigger reverse lights when it was FMVB, I thought about doing it like that when I initially wired the brake; but the thought of accidentally rocking the shifter to the right (the shifter has enough rock that it’ll blip the micro switch I had wired for reverse) and locking the brake at highway speed scared me.

Michael Kelley and I’ll have to go look, it’s just a ground triggered input; I believe it’s a setting in the trans section, then I assigned it to that wire.

Adrian Arellanes look in a WIT book, it’s called the forward band. Yes, I know it controls engine braking in 2nd.
