Hey guy, quick question. I'm getting ready to do this update on my 4L60E. It's just been running warm on the highway. Maybe up to 212? ° Fahrenheit you think upgrading the valve body will help cooling?

not when you drill holes too large. cheers
If I increased the hole size thus increase the pressure lets say to my 3/4 clutch will that help with the longevity of the 3/4?

hi, it depends on how much you enlarge it, if just a little it will apply better and extend 3-4 clutch life. we always use lock joint teflon rings on 3-4 as the conventional ones get flattened out and stop sealing as well. cheers

hi, transgo have thicker separator plates. when you get your sep plate off, just confirm all the ports through new separator plate match the original. cheers

@@YepThatsIt sombody change it before its not stock for that i ask And manny problems inside the trans Slipping 2 n 3 n 4 and low line pressure 60psi max just 1 n R working good
stick small drill bits in the holes until i find one that fits snug, then measure the thickness of the drill bit.,

@@YepThatsIt do you guys resurface pumps? hardly anyone does it in the US anymore,,, they just find good used ones,, also, do u know an easy way to get the stator shaft screws out,, I bent a hex head trying to get them out,, dont know if they use locktite on them or what,, thinking of trying some heat.. the last one I did I had to weld a nut to the top of the screw to get them out,, also wondering why nobody has ever made a gasket to go in between the pump halves as most are reported to be not straight right out of the box new.
Bend me over a bang me stupid , why the heck do car engineers make transmissions so damn complicated 🤔.

Because engineers don't ever expect us to do the work..plus they get it through the warranty and that's about it
