I love all your videos I'm 31 years old I can rebuild a 4l60-65 I learned from taking apart junk transmissions on how they work hope too have my own shop someday

@@expressautotransmissiondav4207 hello David I’m calling from a suburb called Carrollton Texas it’s near Dallas Texas I was just curious I’m a mechanic but I don’t do it professionally only work on my own personal cars and relatives sometimes just sometimes I work on other peoples cars. My question to you David is do you think I would be capable of rebuilding a 4L 60 transmission and the reason I’m asking is I have 22 by fours and three regular Chevy avalanches I don’t know why but I love a Chevy avalanche a lot so I have a total of 51 Chevy Silverado and one GMC Savana van which all my vehicles have a 4L 60 but I’m not sure about the savanna man that’s why I’m asking you do you think I might be able to do this or can you give me a scale from one being the worst and 10 being the best what are my chances of succeeding and doing a great build on a 4L 60 transmission. Also can you tell me where I can buy manuals usually before I start a project I’d like to do my research and make sure I know what I’m getting myself into before I start anything that’s the only two questions? Also can you tell me where y’all are located and if I ship a transmission to you I know there is a economic version and then the most expensive version of rebuilt not all rebuilt are the same according to what you said before it depends on how much money you want to spend on the rebuild that’s why I’m asking if it’s possible to send you the transmission in your ship it back and maybe there might be one way we need to go but other than that God bless you boss God bless your family and friends and remember Jesus Christ is coming back very soon so repent and accept the Lord Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and that way one day we can meet in heaven together and talk about TRANSMISSION stuff lol take care for now I’ll be waiting for your response thank you sir. ✝️✝️✝️

Thanks for the awesome video sir. I have been wanting to do this with the old guy that is teaching me. He has been building for about 40 years but only really know the older stuff(TH350, TH400,700R4, C4, C6, ect.) He does know 4L60e also. With your videos on the new I am learning a lot.

@@expressautotransmissiondav4207 The guy I work with (my wife's uncle) is a Chevy guy, so anything you can do with GM transmissions I would like to see. (I watch all of your videos) I like seeing how everybody does things their way. I would like to see machining the pump on 4l60e like you do.

I've been thinking about doing a sonnax kit and a master rebuild kit or something along those lines or even taking a pole.

@@expressautotransmissiondav4207 Oh, that would work but a kit is probably enough. I was just joking anyway but maybe some of that cheap AR ammo would work as well. :-) :-)
