4Kids on My 50 Chicago (September 6, 2008) Commercials and Bumpers

Ads From the Sonic X and Kirby Right Back at Ya! Airing from September 6 2008. This was around the time the block ended back in the last couple of months after this recording. I also have a bonus THECW4Kids Ad. Sadly wiped whatever TheCW4Kids aired that day (which was on WGN 9 in my area since it was the cw at that time) with Sonic X on Vortexx (yeah still had a vcr and tv capable at that time). I do have the 4kids broadcasts luckily and this was aired on My 50 Chicago in my area since the local Fox Station here aired it there instead since they also own that affiliate. This meant that some rare My 50 Chicago footage was recorded since this transfer for 4kids only happened for the life of the block from 2002-2008 and not before that. My 50 Chicago used to be home to UPN during the block's life as well. I haven't seen too many of the PSA ads from that station from around 2008 on KZread or anywhere for that matter. This might be a first for the internet there is some cursed PSA ads in fact with this recording.

This is technically fair use I am just archiving whatever I had on my VHS tapes minus the Episodes themselves. They are in low quality as well since we are talking VHS here. Copyright Holders, If you really want your commercial or content removed for whatever reason please inform which parts are infringing so I can figure out what to do. I don't like the current KZread system where they tell you nothing so please also contact my email if your able to. I believe the other alternative would be to monetize my video for your companies instead if you believe this infringes your content. I prefer this route so both parties can benefit even if I don't make money from this video (couldn't do it anyways).
I will also be sending the PSA ads to Chadtronic if possible because he may want to see them after I upload this since he is doing tons of videos about those ads. A couple of them are cursed in my opinion which is why I will try to forward them or you users can help as well if you know a way to get them to him.
Also COPPA Act should realize these ads are kind of old I hope the comments don't get restricted as a result. There are children in some of these ads but I don't think this should matter for COPPA because of the fact these are just ancient Advertisements.
Man, KZread just has way too many rules and regulations these days just remember to like and subscribe this video/channel and enjoy the video. Here's to also hoping they don't have to mute portions of the video.

This was from the brief time 4Kids were handling TWO saturday morning blocks. 4KidsTV was still on Fox until the last week of December, while CW4Kids started in May. The latter block still mostly had Kids WB stuff airing...until September, where 4Kids REALLY took over with some of their newer shows like TMNT: Back To The Sewer, Dinosaur King and Chaotix. Meanwhile the last months of this incarnation was just...there. I mean, reruns of Kirby, Sonic X and Winx Club is nice, but it can only get you so far, ESPECIALLY Sonic X being stuck in saturday morning reruns for a DECADE.

I mean....4Kids was going through financial issues. During the Early 2010's the rights to Kirby Right Back at Ya had expired, Rai revoked the Winx Club License from 4Kids so 4Kids couldn't dub Season 4 of Winx Club, the rights to TMNT was sold to Nickelodeon and Sonic X, Yu-Gi-Oh & Cubix were they only properties they had left.....well yes the still had Dinosaur King until it was taken off after it ended its run. They had Tai-Chi Chasers but that ended up getting cancelled I think it was because of the closure to 4Kids Productions.

That was around the point that 4kids had filled for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy protection, and sold it's assets to Saban and Konami, and then Toonzai had turned in to Vortexx on the CW, aka Fox Kids in Disguise, 4kids lost the license to Tai-Chi Chasers, and then renamed themselves to 4Licensing Company. I didn't watch the CW4kids till 2009 or late 2008 and that was around the point I didn't remember Kids'WB being on the CW.

It was also weird seeing two channels airing these shows at the same time. Cartoon Network had the rights to Chaotic and 5Ds too

@@alesolren Actually, Chaotic ALSO aired on Toon Disney/Jetix around this time! Toon Disney had the first season, while CN had the rest. So, for a very brief period, it aired in FOUR CHANNELS within a year.

@@alesolrenSame goes for Nicktoons. It also had the rights to the original Yu-Gi-Oh! and Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal, as well as TMNT 2003. You should also know that Cartoon Network had the rights to the latter two programs, including Yu-Gi-Oh! GX.

No the only recording I had was wiped with vortexx footage. Even then it's from 2008 not 2009 as it was the same day I recorded yugioh gx episode. Just as a note some of the tapes were wiped with video games luckily not this one. Most of the video games recorded over kids wb mostly as it was a time where I would reuse the same tapes and thought it was a smart idea. I was 9 years old at the time.

16:9 did not exist until a couple years later on Fox the station they had 4kids tv on in most areas (except mines was on my network tv in chicago) Fun fact fox news switched to 16:9 in 2009.
