Beautiful Arles, there are the cryptoportiques as well, huge underground catacombs. I stayed at the "old convent" hotel (min 44:00), very very pretty.

I highly recommend it. Considering it's only roughly the size of Texas, It's a very diverse country as far as landscapes and especially the regional architecture and character of each region. Brittany in the northwest looks very different from Alsace in the northeast, which looks very different from Provence and the French Riviera in the southeast, which looks very different from places in the southwest like the Basque Country or the Toulouse-Albi-Montauban area, which looks very different from places in Savoy/French Alps in the east, or the Loire Valley, or Normandy, or the northern corner of the country (French Flanders and Artois). For a region with towns that look totally different from Paris and also has a lot to offer I recommend either Brittany (it can look like certain places in the British Isles and it has a mostly rugged coastline), Alsace (many fairytale German-looking towns and home of the Alsatian wine route), Provence (both the Mediterranean coast and the interior have stunning landscapes and plenty of beautiful towns that architecturally look more Italian than places in the north of the country), or finally I recommend combining the Basque Country with the nearby Pyrenees (beautiful coast line and rolling hills that gain elevation and ruggedness the more you go inland).

Arles is a really beautiful city with a lot of culture and history. Not only the Roman theaters and medieval buildings were worth seeing, but also the beautiful parks and gardens and the old houses with their crumbling facades and wooden shutters. The south of France is so much different than the north and the people there seem so much more relaxed. You actually chose the most beautiful places and gave your viewers a nice gift with this trip. If I ever get the chance to visit Arles, that's the view I'd like to have from my room. I almost visited Arles last time I was in France a few years ago but I ended up visiting Pont du Gard instead, as well as Avignon and the popular nearby villages and countryside of the Luberon like Gordes and Les Baux. Until then, it was very nice to see some of the highlights in this walking tour.
