I wasn't expecting Moscow to look so modern! This is amazing. I know that you probably walked in the business district and the historical areas might still exist, but it is mindblowing to see all those modern skyscrapers in a city like Moscow. I thought that it would look like a typical European city.

@@user-lt8le3de1c And they are ALL so exciting and wonderful. Usually when I come to Moscow, I get a hotel on Sadovnicheskaya St and I am just across the river from The Kremlin. Enjoying a stroll across the river, through Zaryadye Park, Red Square, Gum, Nikolskaya St and the entire area is so wonderful. I am always a bit nostalgic when I go to Zaryadye Park because the first time I came to Russia, my first hotel room was in the Hotel Rossiya, overlooking St Basils and the Kremilin which, of course, sat where the park entrance is now. I fly into Moscow next week but go straight from the airport to the train to St Petersburg. Maybe my next visit I will get to spend a few more days I Moscow. Oh well, one great cure for missing Moscow is to spend a few days in St Peteresburg. LOL.

It's only my opinion, still i believe the moscow city is a shame of Moscow. It's so inorganic, like bunch of alien faceless skyscrapers without any individuality. There is Myasnitskaya street, Bolshaya Pochtovaya street, the district near the Kitay-gorod(China Town) and many others, with amazing buildings, where is the whole street is like a piece of art(Bolshaya Pochtovaya, Malaya Nikitskaya, Bolshaya Nikitskaya). No offence, i just want you to know some places, where you can find kind of "Old Moscow".

Visited beautiful Moscow in 2019 and was pleasantly surprised. It was totally different from what the western media had painted. Bought the cheap 3 Day metro pass and travelled extensively on the metro. Very convenient, frequency less than 3 minutes, and beautiful metro stations too. Love the borscht.

Yes, St. Pete and the Hermitage are incredible. You won't be disappointed.

I like how clean and Traffic Free the City is. And Beautiful, Downtown LA New York And Toronto Is Noisy Full Of Traffic and No Place to Park , And if you find one You Pay it with your Soul .

Wow, everything looks so new and modern. I had been to Moscow in 2004 (I stayed in the very large Hotel Rossija which does not exist anymore), and so extremely much has been done since then. All these modern buildings did not exist at that time. Maybe I'll come back some time.

@@korporator7100 On the contrary my friend, I think it looks the way it does _because of his efforts to transform Russia to a modern State_ in my opinion. If you're looking for (and dislike) "gangsters", look no further than New York and Washington DC. You'll find plenty there! Many more "oligarchs" than in Russia...

Yep its vary Sci fi space looking i think of Moscow as gray and depressing ive seen modern buildings but i wasn't sure how vary the architecture goes pretty nice
