As soon as you showed the Vender on the Beach. I didn't care to watch the rest of the video. I love Venice, don't get me wrong. I been going to Venice since 1977. But, the Vendors on the Beach. Made it unbearable. When , the Vendors showed up. I just stayed away. Because of Them.

This is close to how I remember how it should be. Absolutely beautiful!

Where are you from?

I did the very same walk in 2012 and planning to do it next year when I go to visit California. They have obviously cleaned up quite a bit because in late 80s and 90s I was living in California and in LA, this was my favorite place beside the sunset. Now both places are clean but seems like the soul has left but a beautiful body is left, enough for philosophy. Still a great video on treadmill.

They got rid of those illegal food carts, health dept found out those nasty hot dogs weren't being refrigerated properly.

Beautiful beach! Went once back in 2014. I'll make it back no dough.

Fully just moved here 2 months ago from UK absolutely love it beautiful weather beautiful girls beautiful drinks I just bought a Sea-Doo jetski been on it This morning so many dolphins so gorgeous

I like how you don't talk a lot and let us form our own views of a place! All these tourist congregation areas wherever all seem to have a circus like character about them. I am sure a lot of its put on but its a nice shirt to wear. If I were to say what is real and unreal about our culture when going somewhere I would have to ask the same about staying home. People have told me they save money not seeking out places and they often have boring lives doing all the same old things. At least moving about a bit offers some promise - I think ha ha! This does remind me of all the kinds of places that are celebrated for the eccentric, the bizarre, the whatever of life, or just a place to go supposedly for that touristy rest and relaxation but in my case - and I imagine many others - they simply don't deliver for some reason or other on the expectations. Its better than the miserable lives many do have of course or the lives people stay in not needing to but still it seems like sometimes these places are too hyped!

I don't miss Venice. For the very reason. I saw in the first 10 seconds of this video. I saw the Vendor on the Beach . Trying to sell their stuff( Beach toys) That's totally illegal to do that. There were Fruit Venders also on Venice Beach. These people would walk up and down the beach. And bug you all day. I stopped coming to Venice Beach.

California has cold water why the beach overall sucks there :/ it's a real shame. Southern California water is cold all year except maybe the end of the summer it gets to 72. 80 degree water would make CA beaches perfect.
