I was gonna say, yeah, any hilltop property in Southern California circa 1973 would potentially be worth eight or nine figures today. Especially with the house Spider was describing built on it.

Damn, you can see the regret in Miklo once he killed Spider. There was no turning back from there on for Miklo. Forgot how many great actors were in this film! Great movie.

To those who didn’t notice, this scene is the edited version. Look at spider’s car in the beginning and remember the details. After spider gets cut up, he runs back to his car for his piece; if you pay attention, there’s a shotgun blast in the windshield. Note: you never see chucky use the shotgun. Paco actually uses the shotgun in the original theatrical cut. Go watch the original trailer of this movie and you’ll see they removed so much. The original cut NEEDS to be found

The version on HBO and on VHS doesn't have the scenes the DVD has as for example on VHS they don't show Cruz coming back to his Art expo drunk or they don't show how they killed smokey on VHS or when it was on HBO.

I remember watching this on history channel. “The battle for spider hill” riveting to say the least

The only problem I have in this entire film is this scene. From the start we hear about how great of a boxer the Rooster is so I wish he would have thrown his hands a little in this scene. Vatos locos really planned , prepared and executed this attack very well. Surrounded the perimeter ,came prepared with guns , miklo was the decoy. Id say who ever vl gangmember planned this did a pretty good job

In the beginning of this clip you can see some of the issues with the upscaling. Distant and small details, such as the tall grass and houses, will look grainy and meshed. There will be more such examples in the full movie and more tweaking to the upscaling algorithm will be required to improve the quality, depending on the scene.

This movie may be corny, over the top, and basically a caricature of 1970s Chicano culture...but it is highly entertaining, extremely quotable, and every actor gave 110% to their roles.

It can be a bit corny in spots, but I always thought it was a good story of how a group of friends grow up my together and their lives take different paths. I grew up w a core group of really close friends, like family, and we all went different ways. We still love one another, but life happens-some of us are dead, some went to prison, some became drunks or junkies, but if we ever see one another it’s like no time has passed at all

I don't think they show how the verdict reasoning went, but being that they came there armed, with the intent of injuring the rival gang members the self defense excuse holds thin water since Miklos put himself in that situation. And he was on parole/probation as welö which probably didn't help his case.

Met Miklo at a meet & greet here in Portland, Oregon last week. I flashed the VL hand sign in the our pic to show love to this iconic film. Vatos Locos forever!!!

The music really puts more intensity to this great scene. I love the part where they ran down the hill, the bond between them like lil boys.

I like how they brought out the OG Vato Locos to help the newer generation of the gang. Shows respect for Cruz
