Today, we will take you through a journey to a quaint little village in Himachal Pradesh.
Soil Village, also known as Soyal locally is just 25 kms away from Manali, this hidden gem has a lot to offer. From Lush green forests, Treading waterways, Apple Orchards, to snow capped views.
Nestled at a height of 1189 metres above sea level.
We started our journey from Kullu which is 34 kms and takes 1 hr to reach.
You can see a lot of homes built using traditional Kath-kuni architecture.
Kath-Kuni is a traditional building technique that is characterized by it's use of wood and stone.
Treading through gigantic pine trees, this scenic drive makes me want to travel through this road, again & again!
The drive in the rain makes the journey all the more worthwhile.
You can reach Soyal after a 900 metres wall through the village to reach the riverside cafe - House of Nature Cafe.
Mr. Deva, is the guy who is the owner of the cafe, and goes out of his way to make you feel comfortable.
You can get amazing food, we ordered Rajma with Red rice, Their local dish - Siddu to go with Ghee and Shakar along with the famous Trout Fish that one needs to have whenever you are in Soyal.
