4K| Trip to Colossi of Memnon 2022. Theban necropolis. Luxor. Ancient Egypt.
After visiting the Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and the tombs in the Valley of the Queens, we went through the Theban necropolis to the Colossi of Memnon - two giant statues depicting the 18th dynasty pharaoh Amenhotep III.
The Colossi of Memnon is a unique cultural heritage of Ancient Egypt. These gigantic figures, which have stood for 3,500 years, continue to delight modern tourists. On the video you can easily see how big they are.
