That's very interesting how Tokyo kept that 80s neon blue and pink colored lights for their stores and buildings even to this day.

Yeah to keep the art and craft alive, servicing the gas in the tubes ensuring that smooth light and vibe - really awesome compared to the flicker of electric LED’s in all other cities. In Ontario Canada where my design office is located there’s only a few Neon Light fabricators left and they don’t even have all the colours available.

Having experienced Tokyo, how crowded did it feel compared to mexico city, Cairo, New York, Italy, Spain???

Tokyo is crowded only during specific rush hour times. Otherwise the city is much less concentrated and spread out well compared to other major cities and their centralized downtowns. That said it’s still chaotic!!
