In today's video, this beginner mountain biker takes his first crack on the Slieve Bloom Mountain Baunreagh Blue Trails.
We begin in the Baunreagh Trailhead carpark heading to the first two trails "Monkey Puzzle" and "Take 2" then a descending trail "Free Wheel". The climb to the peak goes next passing Waypoints 1 and 2. Another ascending trail "Stairway to heaven" was not in this video. I'll be sure to record it next time we get back here.
After a short snack break, we took on the descending trails "Thunder" and "Lightning" and some short connection road to the last section "Return of the Jedi" and "Tetris" going back to the carpark.
These are good single track trails for beginner mountain bikers like me. For more information, you can visit their website below.
