Hello! This is Seoul Walking Tour.
Today walk is 'The Hyundai Seoul', the hottest and most trendy department store in Korea.
'The Hyundai Seoul' is the largest department store in Seoul, opening in February 2021. Half of the total area was decorated with indoor gardens and works of art, and an unprecedented attempt was made to open new stores that were not in existing department stores. As a result, it was a success for the MZ generation (customers in their 20s and 30s) in Korea, and in fact, customers in their 20s and 30s accounted for 50% of sales (twice that of other department stores). It is currently one of the most popular places for 20-30s. Also, I was very surprised to see many overseas fans visiting the pop-up store of Stray Kids, a famous K-pop boy group.
Starting with the 2nd basement floor, and went up to the 6th floor. Yeouinaru Station (Line 5) and Yeouido Station (Lines 9 and 5) are all within a 7-minute walk, and in particular, Yeouido Station is connected by an underground walk, so it is very convenient to move around.

Thank you so much for the recommendation! I was there just last Wednesday. It was raining so I reserved visiting this mall on that rainy day 🤩 It is such an AMAZING mall! I love that it carries a wide variety of brands instead of the usual high end brands we see everywhere. The food court is amazing BUT super crowded even after lunchtime! One tip for visitors is that, they offer tax return but they process it for you on the top floor, and the line is loooooong, you’d need to get a ticket and it tells you the number of people ahead of you. My number was 79… So I’d recommend avoid waiting to do tax return at end of day, say 6/7 pm that’s when most people finish their shopping and lining up to do their return before heading to dinner. After all it’s the best mall!! Thank you again for your recommendation 🥰

The Hyundai Seoul store is huge. I'll have to stand in line in front of the red teddy bear and take a picture. The ramen stage next to the food court is also interesting. I enjoyed your video, my friend.

It's a shame this mall does not have automatic doors. Everyone needs to push open that heavy door and everyone touching the handle.

Would love to visit South korea it is my dream! This place is beautiful. But like one said earlier. I really feel if you're vaccinated. Why all The masks? I miss seeing people's smiles and interactions. Hopefully soon people will be able to feel safe walking without it. And only wear it when necessary. Great video ❤

I understand. Masks are still compulsory indoors. Since Seoul has a very high population density, it seems to be conservative in removing masks.

The mask was worn before Covid. Because of the contaminated fine dust coming from China. And Covid is not over yet. There are still 3000 infected people a day
