even if its a city where many criminals thrive, i live here and never got harrassed/assaulted in the streets, even at night, and my "vulnerable" friends (women, lgbt, rich people) too. its obviously a more dangerous place than other normal cities but its inhabitants suffer much more from the clichés of racism and class contempt than from crime most of the time. and murders are only between criminals/gangs.

Merci pour cette video..j ai vecu 30 ans a saint denis et avant c etait magnifique et tres calme...C etait une ville agreable a vivre...tout a changé depuis 10 ans ...degradations,saletés ,vols,agressions,aucun savoir vivre,communitarisme .Les magasins ferment un a un pour laisser place ayx boucheries halal ou autre snacks coiffure bon marché..Il faut faire hyper attention la bas..tu vois des gens pas net....Pourtant cette ville a du potentiel le stade de france la basilique magnifique ou reposent les rois de France,le jardin de la legion d honneur..Saint denis sombre peu a peu dans une pauvreté extreme et le chaos sans nom..je suis triste de voir cela...

Salut, actuellement habitant de Saint-Denis je dirais plutôt le contraire. J'imagine que vous avez quitter Saint-Denis il y'a fort longtemps parce que nous n'avons plus une mairie communiste depuis assez longtemps ^^. Grâce au jeux olympiques, Saint-Denis se transforme rapidement par exemple avec la place de la mairie qui est en cours de rénovation et qui a un avenir prometteur, des quartiers réputés "chauds" qui sont devenus d'un coup très calme (je fais référence au quartier du Franc-Moisin qui était beaucoup plus dangereux avant mais qui ne l'est plus réellement et surement à long terme plus du tout grâce à la démolition du B4 et de la rénovation entière du quartier). Vous dites que les boutiques ferment et qu'ils laissent place à des boucheries Halal, c'est ce point la qui m'a fait comprendre que vous n'habitez plus Saint-Denis depuis un bon moment. Nous avons enfin de bonne boutiques de qualité comme un fromager, des cavinistes, l'ilot-shop un emplacement réservé au boutiques éphémère, la franciades, boutiques de bières artisanales, des poissoniers, des boucheries non halal pour vous faires plaisir, etcc. Personnellement, je suis assez heureux de voir Saint-Denis enfin changer même si elle bénéficie encore de ce qu'on appelle ici le Saint-Denis Bashing, j'espère juste qu'elle ne va pas commencer à avoir une forte gentrification (même si ça commence à être le cas) le temps que j'achête un bien dans cette ville x). Voilà, j'ai pas tout dit mais je voulais faire un point la dessus. J'imagine que votre vision ne changera peut-être pas à cause de sa réputation mais au moins je vous aurais averti ! Bonne continuation.

Soit ce mec s'invente une vie soit il a vécu dans un monde parallèle. Je dirais que ce mec est probablement quelqu'un habitant à l'autre bout de la France qui ressasse dans sa chambre les fantasmes fachos sur le 93 sans jamais y avoir été. Tous ceux qui ont connu Saint-Denis dans les années 80-90 (avant le stade de france) savent que toute une partie de Saint-Denis en particulier là où il y a maintenant le Stade de France et les bureaux c'était des terrains vagues pollués, des entrepôts abandonnés et défoncés et surtout à l'époque il n'y avait pas toute cette population néo bobo venu de Paris. C'était chômage, terrain vague, graffitis vu la crise qu'a connu l'ancienne plus grande zone industrielle de France et déjà dans les années 50-60 probablement la ville la plus multiethnique de France. Et une vraie solidarité, de cette solidarité ouvrière que n'ont jamais connu les petits fachos comme ce mec. Le paradoxe et c'est pour ça que je me dis que ce mec ne connait pas Saint-Denis c'est que de plus en plus de bobos parisiens viennent s'y installer et que des commerces pour les classes moyennes se développent à vitesse grand v. Le Saint-Denis d'aujourd'hui n'a rien à voir avec le Saint-Denis d'il y a 30 ans qui aurait été le Mordor pour ce genre de petit facho. Mais évidemment ceux qui ne connaissent pas Saint-Denis ne peuvent pas savoir sur la base de cette vidéos que Saint-Denis ce n'est pas que les rues bondées du centre ville et que les coins gentrifiés pullullent aujourd'hui?

Sure! The line 13, direction Saint Denis, has a stop nearby called “Saint-Denis Porte de Paris”. Otherwise, from the very centric hub Châtelet-Les Halles you can take the suburban train RER B, direction Airport, and get off at La Plaine - Stade de France

OK i'll try to explain: saint denis is a poor suburb which concentrates a descending population of immigrants, some of the young people of whom are school failures, unemployed, and have fallen into delinquency or drug trafficking (goods from Morocco) it has become a kind of ghetto this is why it have a bad réputation, especially foreigners/tourists are likely to be attacked, because they are a easy target, that's why everyone have to be careful... but it's not as dangerous as Iraq either. For information: With 150 criminal incidents per 1,000 inhabitants in 2005, Saint-Denis is known as one of the least safe places in France, so avoid getting lost, especially at night.

Tous les rois de France ne se trouvent pas à la basilique de Saint-Denis. La basilique de Saint-Denis a reçu les rois à partir d'une certaine date. Beaucoup de personnes se trompent car ils pensent que tous les rois de France ont comme caveaux la basilique de Saint-Denis. D'autres rois sont enterrés ou reposent ailleurs. Y a il me semble la cathédrale de Reims et peut être ailleurs tout ceci reste à vérifier.

Y a t’il des bobos et quelques lgbt + ? Comme à Paris aux loyers inabordables. Des acteurs de gauche avec leurs enfants à l’ecole publique du vivre ensemble et de la veuve et l’orphelin ? Des Journalistes de France télévision ? Et pourtant il y a encore de beaux immeubles Haussmanien. En tous les cas couvre feu quand tombe la nuit. J’ai beau aimer la vidéo, je préfère encore vivre en Auvergne (très belle région d’ailleurs). Sinon je trouve cette ville plutôt agréable en apparence.
