It’s an English Garden located in city area where you can enjoy wide range of flowers and trees including roses, official city flower of Yokohama city.
The Garden has cultivated for years flowers and trees typical of the Yokohama climate, with more than 2,200 roses varieties as its center of attraction, all showing the changes of nature from its spring buds to the way they wilt in the fall.
The garden is packed with the flowers for which British-style gardens are famous, from old roses to fritillarias.
It is an Garden where you can enjoy roses from spring to fall, as it includes roses that bloom all year round with an elegant fragrance.
横浜イングリッシュガーデンは、2,200種類のバラを中心に、横浜の気候風土にあった草花や樹木を散りばめて、春の芽吹きから枯れゆく秋の自然の風景を何年もかけて育てています。特に香り高い四季咲きのバラをふんだんに使い、春から秋までバラを楽しむことができるイングリッシュガーデンです。5月には園内いっぱいにバラが咲き乱れ、入口から約50ｍ続くつるバラのローズ・トンネルは見応えがあります。
