@lainelaine8533 Thank you! I’ve been saying that for a while. As much as I love some of the 4th gen boy groups, telling their voices apart has been a real problem for me. Like you, I often put it this way: If I close my eyes, it could be anyone.

This is definitely one aspect that draws me in to SM groups. To think that Super Junior, EXO, SNSD and (especially) NCT who have a bunch of members but SM still manage to put such different tones into one group is truly a great job. And added that they can still harmonize so beautifuly with those voices 😊.

Exactly! plus people would think, the song was simply recorded in autotune or what esp., the new song releases but SM records and produces their songs meticulously. If one checks in their recording, they don't do autotune but do a lot of vocal layering/harmonizations! :) I know the company has been chaotic but full support for SM fam, artists!!

Damn, Sohee's adlib and high notes are immaculate.

Well, all SM Group like that. Of course Riize too. In Super Junior, even Heechul which is the position as visual & dancer and comedian haha was making everyone shocked when he's passed through King of Masked Singer until 3rd round. And Kyuhyun is the one that encourage him to participate while teasing him to not failed in the 1st round 😂

I love how it's always either wonbin anton or seunghan sohee who's harmonizing or sometimes wonbin sohee or anton eunseok

The thing about SM group is that not only each member can sing but also they know how to harmonize. Every time new group debuts from SM, I always find interesting about how their harmony already sound like they’ve been in the industry for 3+ years. I know they’re trained and instructed that way, but it’s still amazing to hear them doing it so effortlessly.

It seems like someone misunderstood my comment, I was discussing idol groups from SM, so it's true that it was just AESPA and now it's followed by RIIZE... As for Chen, according to me, he's promoting as a solo singer, so I didn't mention Chen... outside of the SM idol group, the first one who did "ONE take or Nothing" was Dreamcatcher, that's true, but he's not an idol group from SM, so I didn't mention him... please see the "ONE take or Nothing" playlist, there are even singers from other idol groups like Chen (EXO) , Jihyo (Twice), Jinyoung (GOT7) but they promote as solo singers and sing solo songs, so they cannot be categorized as idol groups 👌🏻

the story of all SM groups..it still boggles my mind how every members have totally different tones but can harmonize so beautifully every single time. whenever some member/s were missing, the songs just felt incomplete..i suspect SM made everyone lines up and did a mix and match based on their harmonization before debuting a group lol

Wonbin's voice tone is similar to Heechan. Sohee is so amazing, the main vocal element. Well, all of them can sing, what more can we say😊
