There were some delays and cancellations but no major shutting down. Thank God because I'm so dependent on BART

From El Cerrito Plaza To 16th St Mission.

The most basic-looking station ever, they should at least put a rooftop

I like BART's space age architecture. The modernist simplicity is very easy on the eyes, unlike the more brutalist style of the other new midcentury American metro systems. Plus this station is meant for California weather, which let's face it is mostly sunshine with a light ocean breeze. We'd love to have more rains, but this is a very very arid area. It's entirely justifiable to have a nice open station like that with lots of air and space. Plus you get the gorgeous Bay and mountain/hill views.
