Nice! Looks almost exactly like my 93 240 with 154,000 miles (yes the odometer and everything else works). It’s also a California car so no rust. ❤

What an amazing car! I find it so amazing how the odometer showed the same mileage - 136162 - before and after the test-drive. lol I wonder how long the odometer hasn't been working and what the true mileage really is! 🤔

I wonder why isn't there a single company that makes cars this simple and durable anymore...like seriously, a lot of folks just want cheap realiable cars.

I got such a car for my sixteenth birthday. From my dad, who was a connoisseur of classic cars. There was no limit to my disappointment. I was expecting at least a ten-year-old Honda, but not the old junk that only old fart drives. And of course, for the first six months the car stood in the garage, because I preferred the bus. Then my father got sick of the fact that the garage is constantly busy, and gave me a scolding. I had to swallow my resentment for such a universal injustice (after all, my friends had Hondas, Toyota, Fords, and I had one old Volvo 240, I was a black sheep among my peers) and start driving this junk. By the way, I still have the car. I didn't sell it. Mainly because I think no one will buy it. And also because I'm used to it.

You are very very wrong. We sold hundreds of volvo 240's. They run forever, and definitely better than any honda or toyota. There is no comparison. Reliability and safety is unprecedented. Not to mention the value of those old volvos are much higher than toyotas or hondas. We we selling 240's for 8,000+ depending on miles and condition. and as much as $16,000. For that much you can buy almost a brand new honda, but it will still be honda....
