I think the wash equipment is called as follows: S-45 Mitter, 21" Hub-Cap Rocker Panel Brushes, 35" Wrap Around Washers (very rare today (!) because of preferred trucks, vans and SUVs), OSW-2 Mitter and finally 35" Side Washers. Both the Wrap Arounds and Side Washers were usually ordered as either 56" or 63" in the 1990's.

You are correct sir. Old Hanna guy here 1985-92

While the inside and lobby views (prefer those) were good...at 6.28 shooting from the tunnel exit, it's interesting seeing the comparison of the old school Hanna equipment (which if kept up can become powerhouses) and the Premier dryers. Then to see the Hannas roar to life, amazing. But that circular mitter...that's the rare gem there. Another traditional mitter or top washer could replace that when its time comes. But I doubt that will happen in the next few years.

This car wash closed its doors. Jen and TJ tried their best over the last decade to keep it alive. I worked there back in 2014 and they had a lot of restrictions with that tunnel, which is why we always sought to repair and replace what we could when we could. The building is owned separately, so any major construction was kind of out of the question. The car wash business with the Hanna tunnel is now for sale but the adjacent detail garage has been refitted for the owners second business, an auction company. This small town of seven thousand can only hold two car washes. There was three for a short while when a new one opened on the opposite end of town with better wash options and free vacuums, this is the one that died out. By the end it was so expensive for a basic exterior. The owners kept updating what they could when money allowed. That central mutter is for sale, and it’s rare so jump on it.

Those wraps are ancient. I am surprised they have not upgraded to something full height.

If i recall the wraps were extended late 70s or early 80s to catch those Chevy vans

Hey I have some 2 extremely rare N/S dryers and one unknown old desert dryer at these car washes in order (bubble bath car wash, oranges hand car wash, town and Country car wash)

Theres an extremely rare early 90s NS TUNNEL on Rt 35 in Keyport NJ. Also original Hanna wash i saw yesterday on White Horse Pike in Atco NJ. Understanding you cant really get out here if I film it I can send to you. But it wouldnt be Calif wash

Ummm I just found a 100 % in tact refurbished desert dryer in Sunnyvale ca at Sunnyvale auto spa!!!!!!!!!!

Ok, I may have requested something, but this is absolutely awesome! I love the new arches, signs, and dryers! Looks like the dryers were IDC, which are always 👎. But, I love the Hanna equipment, and the untouched old canopy!
