棉堡高160米，長2700米。城市富有溫泉以及石灰岩溶洞，泉水在富有碳酸鹽礦物的梯田流動。棉堡的山頂坐落著希拉波利斯（Hierapolis）古城，古城內可以看見古羅馬時期的神廟和浴場。
Pamukkale is located in southwest Turkey and is named after the place resembles a snow-white castle.
Pamukkale is 160 meters high and 2,700 meters long. The city is rich in hot springs and limestone caves, with spring water flowing in terraces rich in carbonate minerals. On the top of Pamukkale sits the ancient city of Hierapolis, where you can see temples and baths from the ancient Roman period.
