This video is a trip to Pamplona, a very nice city located in northern Spain.
It is a Basque city and the city of the pilgrimage to Santiago.
Please watch until the end to see what the old town looks like in the early evening on the weekend.
Pamplona, historically also known as Pampeluna in English, is the capital city of the Chartered Community of Navarre, in Spain. It is also the third-largest city in the greater Basque cultural region.
Lying at near 450 m (1,480 ft) above sea level, the city (and the wider Cuenca de Pamplona) is located on the flood plain of the Arga river, a second-order tributary of the Ebro. Precipitation-wise, it is located in a transitional location between the rainy Atlantic northern façade of the Iberian Peninsula and its drier inland. Early population in the settlement traces back to the late Bronze to early Iron Age, even if the traditional inception date refers to the foundation of Pompaelo by Pompey during the Sertorian Wars circa 75 BCE. During Visigothic rule Pamplona became an episcopal see, serving as a staging ground for the Christianization of the area. It later became one of the capitals of the Kingdom of Pamplona/Navarre.
The city is famous worldwide for the running of the bulls during the San Fermín festival, which is held annually from July 6 to July 14. This festival was brought to literary renown with the 1926 publication of Ernest Hemingway's novel The Sun Also Rises. It is also home to Osasuna, the only Navarrese football club to have ever played in the Spanish top division.

My old college town 94-95. Thanks for posting. Question: Do you remember what time of day this was filmed? The clock near the end says 20:57 but I don't remember the sun setting there so late. Maybe it was more like 6-7pm? Also you posted July 3rd, but it looks like they already erected the fence posts for the encierro. Exciting!

Puedes ir a la oficina de turismo y preguntar y la comida, pues hay un monton de sitios y de todos los precios. En la avda sancho el fuerte estan el bingo y el bar montblanc, comida de calidad a buen precio, pero hay muchos mas que conozco pero es complicado explicarte en estas lineas, tienes que preguntar a nivel universitario que seguro que sabran tambien.

Thank you, if you only wrote this messahe before, i visited Pamplona last month, i really liked it , so beautiful, so calm, and people are well educated and kind, it was a bit difficult because the hotels are so expensive, and albergue also, i could not find a room in house to rent, but i wish i can visit it again next year. Thak you for the response.
