I was going to get on the wait list for this watch, but changed my mind after watching this review. The hand alignment, daily accuracy, and loom leaves some to be desired for sure. The elegant design, snoopy feature, and case back are what I love about this watch, but those details are not enough for me to endure the wait time to get it. Thanks for the great review.

Does snoopy take 14 seconds to sweep through the caseback? I read it somewhere when it was released that the snoopy takes 14 seconds to sweep through the caseback to commemorate those crucial 14 seconds. This is incorrect. Snoopy takes about 32-33 seconds to sweep through the caseback. It takes 4-5 seconds to get from moon to earth and then about 23-24 seconds to sweep from earth to back behind the moon. I think I've seen this video 10 times already, my favourite watch channel. It's not painful to see, because I already have it, also with 3861 bracelet (sapphire sandwich version). We are very lucky, and it's my favourite watch I've ever had.

Being a "fun" watch the backstory behind the speedmaster always take top price - no watch story comes even close to the achivements of this. I love my 50 Years Anni Speedmaster :)

hi Hafiz great reviews. started following you. I have the new omega speedmaster in hesalite. Have you noticed that all new omega case backs have too much sharpness in the region where the bracelet end links meets the case. the lack of bevelling in the case and bracelet makes for a very uncomfortable wearing experience.

The stop second hand for the chronograph has always been, for all speedys, slightly misaligned. It is not a QC-issue, it's like that for all speedys, all examples. I don't know why tho, I'm guessing the novement they use is just made like that for better or worse

I almost didn't buy my Speedy due to this issue. Just loved the watch so gave up and bought it. It's weird but I am learning to live with it.

Question, what city are you in? and how long ago did you preorder it? I also put a deposit on one the day they announced it, I live in Toronto, I went back in the day the lockdowns were lifted about 3 weeks ago, they told me that they never got any in yet, probable a year or more, I'm just worried there going to cancel it, i heard some horror stories.

@@jonathanwelke The AD wasn't at the Yorkdale mall, was it? and did you leave any kind of money down? I gave them $5000 down. I also called Vancouver 2 weeks ago just to see what they would say, and Horey would not take any more preorders, I really need to get this watch, to celebrate me surviving covid, i was in the hospital for 2 months.

Any recommendation on the model number of the bracelet? And is it the polished or matt. I prefer larger bracelets like the speedmaster racing bracelet.

How did you get this piece with a bracelet?

You are an expert in top quality shooting... I suspect most watches would look less impressive in real world than in your videos

I watched your latest VC 4500V review before this one and find you opinion on the VC 4500V very harsh compared to this. You called the VC at 11.8mm a chunky watch, yet this is 3mm larger again. You used your macro (which is excellent btw) to show the printing issues on the VC but didn't extend it to the same levels on this, the time you did, you can see the minute markers look pretty average. 4 seconds is very poor for the VC but 6 seconds for the omega is average? I see there is also lots of dust on the snoopy hand on the rear of the watch, which you missed. Not sure if its intended, but i also witnessed the minute hand on the chrono jump forward to the next minute 3 seconds before the second hand of the chrono crossed? Nice review all the same, i thoroughly enjoyed it.

Did you have any issues having the bracelet fitting the snoopy? The bracelet looks like it is from a new model hessalite Speedmaster right?

Yes it’s the same bracelet that comes with new 2021 speedies. No issues with fitting. It fits like it’s designed for it.

Where did you purchase the OEM bracelet and how much? It looks stunning on the watch.

Isn't 14 seconds also the exact same time it takes for Snoopy to appear and disappear again? I know there was something related to the time Snoopy is visible on the back of the watch but I don't remember exactly what is was. Awesome watch and awesome video.

The spacecraft for Apollo 13 needed a 14 second fuel burn in order to correct the course of the spacecraft to re-enter the Earth's atmosphere properly. Edit: seems I was mistaken. Snoopy does not sweep through the caseback in 14 seconds. See Hafiz's post below.

That is an anomaly. My Planet Ocean, also Master Chrono is currently keeping perfect time. Picking up the Snoopy tomorrow and expecting similar.

There is not question - go with the Silver Snoopy (if you can get one) I own the BLNR (see my profile picture) but to be honest, I will take the Silver Snoopy every day

BLNR is a very good watch. Silver Snoopy is an exceptional watch. One watch gives you a history, looks, experience, reliability and durability, while the other gives you a history, looks, reliability, durability, 50th anniversary milestone, some fun looks with a snoopy, but then also a story and an animation. A better comparison for Snoopy is a Daytona panda but that still lacks the anniversary and animation part.

Two responses: 1) If you are having a (serious) deliberation between those two watches then it means you can get both. As in, if you have (actually) been offered both, then you are either ludicrously lucky or very well known by ADs. Which likely means you can get both. 2) If you have to select one go for the Snoopy. Probably the only Omega I would chose over a Rolex, and the only Omega that is truly difficult to get. If however this was a theoretical question and you don’t have a super-special AD connection, then your chances of getting the BLNR from an AD is highly unlikely and for the Snoopy impossible.
