Oceanside is a gem. Lived here over 25 years. Beautiful video!!! When you first come up on The Strand, the grey house with flag and red, white and blue decorations, is used in the show Animal Kingdom which is in season 6. And Top Gun House is above on Pacific St.

I live 15 minutes from these beaches and would never want to live anywhere else. Every time we travel, it's always good to come home to North County San Diego!

I was just there 7/5-7/8. It was tranquil and refreshing. I drove over to San Diego (La Jolla Cove) and watched the Sea Lions as well. 🦭

1i was there today. It's a beautiful beach. Clean and even when crowded it is spacious. Lovely and extraordinary experience.

We lived in O'side for 20 years, have been gone now for 5 years, can't believe how much it's grown. so glad the Top Gun House is still there. Looks great.

Beautiful ocean

This is beautiful! You might not realize this but in places like NY and NJ and other areas where there is 4 seasons, You cant really go anywhere in July 4th, Traffic is nightmarish and anywhere you go is overly crowded! There is hardly anyone there in California, That is a dream. July 4th is my wedding anniversary and we used to go away but now its a nightmare!

I will be able to hit top of line Mexican beaches like puerta Vallarta Cozumel Cancun Veracruz and my most favorite Acapulco even though maybe now too One of most dangerous areas due to rival gangs But that does not deter me I do not mess with drugs or back them

Live in Carlsbad. Work in Oceanside. I was a security guard on the pier for 2 yrs.

OCEANSIDE...is just the RIGHT place to find PEACE & REST I use to live there years ago... now I’m coming back to stay🌞 Small town with small town things ( and NOT the TROUBLES of a METROPOLIS CITY 🤨) I love this town GOD prepared the way in advance to move here and I’m GRATEFUL that he did with ABUNDANCE OVERFLOWINGS MULTIPLIED EXCEEDINGLY 😁thanksgiving O’LORD 🙏2023 - 2024🌞😍😄

Oh, you might be thinking of the strand from Coronado to Imperial Beach? That's further south, this city is in North County San Diego and the strand is the name of the combo driving/walking area that runs parallel and closest to the beach.

Lovely beach and harbor but not as expensive as San Diego,lovely pier.water,hotels. Surfers to watch. Surfer Museum. LegoLand close in expensive Carlsbad.

If you could Gavin out, I'd be in like flynn.

Are those beach rentals or homes along the beach? It would be fun to stay there.

What hotels with beach views are nice to stay at in the area?

Northern San Diego country and Orange county are still clean and safe with few homeless compared to Los Angeles county and city of San Diego. However, I am not sure how long that is going last. Democrats started making inroads in San Diego county and city of San Diego has been voting for Democrats since 2008. Needless to say, homeless/drug use issue in city of San Diego has become a lot worse than that. Norther San Diego county is still relatively conservative. In recent years, Orang county has been becoming less conservative as well. Predictably, crime has been rising and homeless encampments have sprung up.

Oceanside side was better before they built all those stupid hotels it sucks now.
