I honestly think it's much better visiting the beach when it's grey than when it's sunny. you can enjoy it. people think it's grim but i think it's nice.

I believe Alfred Hitchcock said the very same and used to go to the British seaside in winter to write! So you're in good company!

what a lovely place to walk through, not a roadman in sight. There's just something about the architecture of older buildings and homes that calm the nerves. The environment surely affects ones mental health

We hope you enjoy this Margate, Kent UK Old Town, Turner Gallery & Pier walk. A walk through the British coastal town of Margate, home town to artists JMW Turner & Tracey Emin. Recently its gained a reputation as an artistic and hip place to move to - earning the nickname "Shoreditch on sea." But there's so much more here than great coffee shops. We’ll start at the old town and pass the beach and the Turner Contemporary Gallery and end at the curve of Margate's pier and harbour.

Love the different coloured buildings in the old town…nice walking with you again.

Thank you guys, you really made my day. I love Margate more than my hometown in Germany. As an au pair l lived in Cliftonville from 1971/1972, and it was the very best year of my young life. Thank you for taking me through the streets of old Margate. God bless you guys 😘❤🙋🏼‍♀️

How about a cup of coffee at the "Margate Coffee Shed?" I'll buy.... Every video you make I do a search to find out more about the area. Kent is interesting. Interesting history. You can’t imagine how much we value our connection with you HD. We couldn’t think of anything nicer than meeting up with you someday and sharing a coffee and people watching with you. You make doing these little films worthwhile. Crikey, Sandpoint isn’t warming up much is it? We’ve been pretty chilly in Turkey and we’re told that’s completely unseasonal. Warming up now thankfully. Anyway all the best to you chum and thanks again for being there!

was quite racist and insular here in the 00s. glad to see it has changed. they had great fish and chips, i remember that. I don't think it has as many shops either. Looks much nicer, cleaner
