I used to be a black cab driver in the 90s and early 00s so London is in my blood. I moved to a small town in Somerset in 2012 and continue to miss London every day. This wonderful video has brought a tear to my eye. Thank you
London is the most beautiful city in the world
London is where my heart & soul want to be.
Hello from Kazakhstan🇰🇿 I love London🇬🇧🖤

London is such a complex and beautiful City
This video shows how much variation in architecture there is in London in such a beautiful way.
I've lived in London all my life and seen pretty much all of London in that time but this video gives it a whole new perspective. Amazing. You can really see appreciate the differences between the neighbourhoods with this footage.

I lived in London when St. Paul's dome was black. Are you old enough to remember those days? I haven't been back in fifty years so the astonishing change is amazing and now the power stations have closed down the air is all clean. My brother was born during the 1952 smog.
London, Paris, New York, Chicago and Philadelphia are my favourite cities ever🏙 🌆 ❤ from Brixton LDN🇬🇧

Yes!! Thank You! I love Philadelphia!!
Back in the days of the power stations, the roofs and the dome of St. Paul's were all black. Now the amazing change fifty years later.

Its fitting that London is building more high buildings, metal beams & plate glass.. This technique was invented in Britain but because of mainly historical land protections, didn't build many. 🇬🇧

The Americanization continues, in 2003 London had maybe one or two skyscrapers over 150 m.

@@jbloun911 Really? Metal beamed buildings were invented in Britain. Plate glass for windows was invented in Britain. The first multi floored metal beamed building was in Britain. The tallest metal beamed building was in Britain. America copied the construction of metal beamed buildings, including multi level buildings from Britain.
Man you should make a video with just those ground shots they're stunning! Rest of the videos not bad too😉

excellent video I love these videos congratulations for your work, I have a question what kind of drone do you have?

I have different drone like the DJI Mavic Pro and the Mini 2
People are rightly cynical about skyscrapers - and at ground level the City is not a pleasant or interesting place to be - but in the space of 15 years London has arguably given itself the best skyline in the world
God, you have the most awesome drone footage on theTube :):)

My father lived there for almost a year in a Cambridge-related/linked school in London and absolutely loved it in the late 60s. He even remembers his old metro stations, Elephant and Castle I presume, which took around 20 mins to get him to school on Oxford Street. He had never had a single problem there and lived in an Irish/English family house, i believe the landlord was an ex-policeman and gave my dad a few pieces of advises, well I think now London is way different from the '60s, but the same essence is there. I love the high rises, but please try to keep them away from the center and away from Historical buildings, Canary wharf is already too close(and the Shard too)

Got a bit stuck on St. Pancras, didn't you?
All those buildings around Battersea, where did they suddenly spring up from?
Wow, you must’ve gone through hell to fly in central, even with the mini 2
The red building is beautiful, is it a church?

Clearly a lot of things have been going on since anyone took a decent look at London. That mirrored building near the shard that looks like it's pregnant, I've never seen before.
Wouldn't it be nice walking about in the top of one of those buildings in the nuddy, thinking no one can see you, only to find a camera looking right at you.
why the Thames get all brown and nasty like that?
All frames are in 2,3 central places - for that in a big misery
I love London, but in my opinion way too many skyscrapers are built within last two decades. The atmosphere is somewhat ruined.

Man u crazy as hell. That's what gives it that modern aesthetic. London looks wayyyy better now with the beautiful highrises

@@johncampbell9812 I strongly disagree. Concentrating high rises in Docklands was fine (like Paris did) but now they are spreading all over like a disease. The city is being ruined by greed.

@@ramochai what's wrong with the highrises tho? I think u should be gracious to be lucky enough to live in a city that they would even build them... especially LONDON
@ramochai

@@johncampbell9812 High rises concentrate insane amounts of people in small pieces of land, overwhelming infrastructure, maximising air pollution and noise pollution. It's totally find to designate a financial centre and concentrate a limited number of high rises there, but the trend in London is worrying. Before too long, the city will lose its character and turn into some kind of Hong Kong on Thames.

@@ramochai well if it does, I'm sure the buildings will be constructed with supreme and eloquent artistry and culture to match the revered antiquity of the historic aesthetic
