It was great to film it this time around - we've been here a few times, but we noticed even more this time because we were capturing. It's a stunning house, but we have another one lined up that betters it! :)
Fascinating. IT's a beautiful location but so bleak and desolate on the volcano but then the garden was like an oasis. Thanks for sharing this little tour with us. -Henry

Thanks Henry - I think you've hit the nail on the head - its the contrast between the landscape and then the white moulded concrete and planting that does it for me. Plus just how he decided to follow what was already there!
This is the most amazing place, not to be missed!! It's wonderful can't wait to return.

The artist César Manrique was almost solely responsible for keeping the towns of Lanzarote low-rise and painted white. Here we take a walk through the house that he designed for himself, incorporating and expanding on the land's existing subterranean volcanic bubbles.
