This is probably one of the best looking graphics we'll get in games before UE5 brings about the age of hyper-realistic photogrammetric raytraced graphics with AI powered virtual human NPC actors which are barely distinguishable from film. It's the verdant lushness of the varied foliage in contrast with the rugged landscape which really sells it. That and the fact that we can see every pore and even every single miniscule hair of the female peach fuzz on the protagonist's face. Really don't know how much better game textures can even get than this.

mcfly rtgi is more fake, I tested in several games and only in few games is interesting, nothing compare with nvidia rtx

Well yeah thats the thing, rtgi is more for games that dont have native rt lighting because that usually always looks better

I have the ROG STRIX 4090 and let me tell you there is no magical extreme ray tracing lol It’s essentially the PS5 version with a little bit better textures and higher FPS😂 so stop with the lies

Game looks really good but that ghosting hairs throughout the bow... just should not happen in aaa game in nowadays but all we know how games looks like today from technical side...

it's not "real ray tracing". It is a CPU based ambient oclusion mask. Which is subsequently placed over the picture. gives the game some contrast and emphasizes the geometry a bit. Looks quite nice in this one. But yes, the titel is somewhat misleading...

Its called Hero lighting. Alot of games do it. It's to keep a "spotlight" on the main character so he/she is always the focus of the action.

@@bonster101this light that follows her around is there to fix the issue that a lot of games have with baked lighting basically if this light was disabled the character model would look low quality in certain areas and in certain times of day her face would lack ambient occlusion and would look pale enabling this light will give the character models skin something to react to and enhances detail in her face this light is used in ALL movies as well where there are 3 lights pointed at the main characters but o do see why some people find it annoying it’s just an artistic choice and I think it’s a smart one

Its an artistic decision. Doesn't look realistic but helps to make the character stand out from the background. I like it, but it's personal preference

Looks washed out and rinsed compared to the ps5 version. Also the foilage looks incredibly sparce compared to the PS5 version. PC can't stream in textures and assets like the mighty PS5 can. Also the character models on PC are no where as detailed as the PS5 version. I have a ton of screenshots to prove it

Neee to fix your eyesight buddy. RDR2 doesnt even look as good as Horizon Zero Dawn from 2017 does. HFW is levels above.

@@ABCboy5 HZD is vastly superior. RDR2 has low res, ultra blurry textures that look like they belong on a PS2. The character models were outdated in 2018 not to mention today. Like PS3 characters. The vegetation up close looks ikke trees from Gran Turismo 5. the asset quality is really bad as well. The skin of horses look all pixelated and have you seen how bad the skinned animals look? The snow is also some of the worst snow I have ever seen in a game. Not to mention the. PS1-looking rocks 🤢 I have probably spent 10 hrs of my 200hr playtime on RDR2 desperately trying go find graphics mods to maks the game not look like crap. HZD on the other hand looks perfect out of the gate. Horizon Forbidden West is the best looking game ever made.

Sadly, graphics are not everything. The game is boring as hell and it's hard to understand why players all over the world focus on only graphics. Everything is terrible in this game except for graphics. Just waste of time.

ну и как этого понимать после такого разве захочеться покупать видио карту ужасс не мне жаль пакупать
