Nice video, I saw almost full. Is very interesting how the neon light are growing when you are most near from Shibuya.

Amazing - haven't seen too many at this time of day... lighting is great and HDR brilliant as usual on this channel. Surprised that more or less everyone is Covid masked up. (Next to no one bothers in the UK, me included). I can't wait to visit (had to cancel my 2020 trip) - these are great to give me a preview!

The official response here in the UK to the pandemic has ended months ago and it has been downgraded effectivity to endemic status. Well soon found out in the validity of when winter comes. As to Japan, it seems to me that they are still dealing with it and as they have an aging population that is a sensible precaution to have restrictions longer.

Ha, at 28:50, you went down the street of a popular 24 hour live cam on the Kabukicho Live Channel. Business looks like it's really starting to pick up now.

Just curious, why 50fps instead of 30 or 60? Not a big deal, but the video does seem a bit less smooth with the odd framerate. Other than that though, the picture itself is fantastic!

Maybe there are 50hz power lines in that particular area and that reduce street light flicker (i read there are both 60 and 50 hz used in Japan)

I really will consider my life a waste if I don't live here once. Living and visiting is completely different ~

Biking on sidewalks or walking on bike lanes is considered annoying in western Europe, if not hazardous. It seems folks do not bother to avoid it in Tokyo, same for sharing a road with cars while skirting them inches away over and over in the same thru-fare. I guess it boils down to societal discipline where everyone knows how to behave correctly in public. Still, I’m always surprised of the low rate of traffic accidents in Japanese cities.
