Aloha, I have really enjoyed your video! My husband and I and our 3 children moved to Maui in 1972 and spent the next 32 years raising the kids, building several homes there in Ka’anapali and starting several sailing, parasailing and snorkeling businesses in Lahaina and Ka’anapali! I am so amazed at how beautiful the walk is through the entire resort . It has really grown and is so much more beautiful than it was years ago! We spent many hours and days sailing and 2:54 playing in the surf with friends and neighbors! They were great years and full of wonderful memories! Mahalo for your effort! We will definitely be going on this walk in July. We stay in Kehei and have been on the Wailea beach walk and really enjoyed it. Did not know about this one.

Thanks for a really superb video! We can say that it is really well done in that unlike many, you panned the camera for the viewer to really see the beauty of the surroundings. Every time that we've been there, it was so beautiful. We couldn't help to notice that you took the camera all the way to the Sheraton through the rocks so the viewers could see from that vantage the beauty of this beach. Finally, you also included the hotel names along the paths! Outstanding! Thanks

Great Video... We normally stay on the North Side of Black Rock. Incredible to see all the erosion going on the South Side of Ka'anapali . Went last year and going back again this year. Will hopefully check out more of the South Side this time around

Thank you. Yeah, the storm damages were pretty bad last year. Nice, it is not too far of a walk from there. Plus it is beautiful and goes by quickly.

Just got back yesterday. Lovely walking around south side of black rock, however the beach is better and less eroded north of black rock. I stayed at the Maui Eldorado condo complex via an Airbnb. Paid half as much as anyone in any these beachside resorts and I was only a 5 min walk (through a beautiful golf course) away from the beach. I could still see the ocean from my balcony. Not to mention I had a full kitchen. Best deal in Kaanapali!

There’s a “secret” passage that leads to the other side of the Black Rock where the beach walk continues.

Yeah, I have stayed north of Black Rock a couple of times.

So the path is still busted by the Alii ... wonder when they are going to get that fixed ... also wonder when they are going to get that shipwrecked yacht out from in from of the Marriott ... nice video!

Hopefully, you will get to visit Maui soon. Elvis stayed 7 times at the Hilton Hawaiian Village in Oahu.

Is this the same beach that tragically had the wildfires? If so you should do a post fire walk for people to understand the devastation
