How hard is it to find parking around Bologna?

it depends on the district, in the centre it’s sometimes impossible to find a spot or it takes like half an hour or more driving around. but outside usually there’s no problem

@@UndefinedContentHD Okay thank you for letting me know. I plan on travelling in August. My family lives in Sasso Marconi and I think that's more mountainous and not as crowded. Would you recommend for a first time tourist to rent a car to get around or just use taxis? There will be a lot of us and I don't think we can all fit in my relatives' cars. We're also planning on going from Bologna to Alto Adige, and I looked it up and it's a 6 hour drive. Would it be better to ride a train?

@pagenpwoblem renting a car would be the best option especially if you plan to visit a few places around. there is a fast train o Bolzano i think but still a car would be more convenient. and much cheaper
