A city full of charm with beautiful architecture rich in history, but with an excessively rainy climate aggravated by a cuisine that is certainly not famous for its excellence. Fortunately they invented whisky which is useful for swallowing the mouthful of Haggis (which I consider to be the lowest level of culinary art). The dishes you ate did not exceed four stars, improving only thanks to the dessert. On the other hand, Scotland is fantastic for those who love to eat excellently cooked wild trout or salmon. Beautiful walk Alice and see you next time.🌹

I totally agree with you!😁😍 Someone told me that Scottish salmon dish was the best, so I really wanted to try it, but I couldn't do it due to schedule reasons, so I was very upset.😞 Edinburgh is a city that strangely attracts people's hearts.😍 Have a wonderful day my friend!✨💕

@@WalkingAlice Personally, I prefer wild Pacific Ocean salmon of the Sockeye species (fish of this species are often called Sockeye Salmon and often come from Alaska). They cost twice as much as their farmed counterparts and have a drier meat consistency. I absolutely never eat farmed fish but only what is defined as "wild" because farmed fish are fed with feed that is made up less and less of fish meal and more and more of vegetable meal and is filled with drugs and even antibiotics. Always keep in mind that fish caught in the seas and oceans can have parasites (even dangerous ones), for this reason I strongly advise you to check before consumption that the fish has been subjected to the product blast chilling technique at -20 °C for at least 24 hours. The smoked salmon "of the past" were saltier, drier and more smoked The "old" smoking process involved initial salting of the fillets followed by hot smoking (with smoke above 70°C) directly over the fire in closed environments. Modern smoking techniques tend to use salt and smoke as little as possible to flavor the product.🌹

How beautiful are these lush English, or rather Scottish, gardens and parks, which have a very special charm even when it rains. I have been to England many times, but have never managed to go to Scotland, but I will definitely do so at some point. I especially want to see the fascinating city of Edinburgh and the Scottish Highlands. You were probably completely soaked after this walk and hopefully didn't catch a cold?
