In this video, Munky briefly stopped and looked around Dumaguete City Public Market.
This is a typical public market where the vast majority of the produce is sold. It consists of three main structures. Building 1, houses vendors who sell fish, meat, chicken, and the majority of the vegetables, spices, and food ingredients you'll need in your kitchen. It's a lively, crowded, and noisy environment. Because the floor is usually wet, you should watch your step, and it can get very messy at times. Building 2, the center building, is where you can purchase a variety of flowers for all occasions. It has a second floor with government offices such as the PESO office, City Vet, and others. It also has a hall that can be used for a variety of functions. Building 3 houses restaurants/carenderia where you can fill your belly with a variety of Filipino dishes at a reasonable price. Tailoring shops, barber shops, parlors, and stalls selling local products can also be found.
HOW TO GET THERE:
If you are in town, you can easily get to Dumaguete City Public Market by hailing any pedicab on the street and ask them to take you there for around P20.
There is an outbound mini cab terminal for specific city destinations, the majority of which are on the outskirts. The minicab, however, will not leave until all of the seats have been filled.

I was there a couple weeks after you posted the video. Fun times great place, Valencia public market on a Sunday was more for me. Did shop a few times there and if you want seafood that's the place. You can get huge prawns there. Good video

This karinderia insde dumaguite public market is very nostalgic to me.. as a young boy me and my grand ma always come to dumaguite to but items for her store in our bario . .. and she always promised that we will eat lunch in Jollibee.. but we always end up in dumaguite public market.. as a kid I'll get disappointed.. but my grand ma will always say JOLLIBEE IS EXPENSIVE IJO here we can have rice 🍚🍚🍚 that you want. .. hahhaha looking back at that times.. makes me laugh 😂😂 those are the days
