Because it makes it easier to spot a vehicle from a distance even in daylight. And most of the year it's actually pretty dark i Sweden so better to always have the lights on.

I do expected Swedes driving Volvos.

I understand why did that move to the right line. But you are to late crossing a drawnline. kzread.info/dash/bejne/aKKqvMiRk7mZpaQ.html that is against swedish driving rules and you would have to make a left turn instead.

Turning off the car in every red light???

It's in the city, probably on a calm day, with police everywhere. Out on the big roads, there are morons who drive like morons on a regular basis, like in any other country. Even I make mistakes driving sometimes.
