I live on a creek too (Camp Meeting Creek, Kerrville Texas) and have shot hours of video there. Amazing variety of biota. Where are you? I did not recognize some of your critters.

I work from home, and sometimes it can be a little stressful/emotionally taxing at times! I like keeping vids like these on in the background, with the sound off. It helps keep me a little more focused, and it helps when work gets too stressful 😊

Fun Facts about Dragonflies 👇👇 * Dragonflies have been around for 300 million years. Prehistoric dragonflies were much larger and could have a wingspan of 2 ½ feet. * When first hatched, the larva or nymphs live in the water. The larvae will remain aquatic for 2 to 6 years depending on the species. * Some of the larger dragonflies live 6 to 7 years. * The dragonfly nymph breathes through its anus. * Dragonflies live most of their life underwater. * A single dragonfly can eat hundreds of mosquitoes per day. * Dragonfly larvae eat just about anything, including tadpoles, fish and mosquitoes. * Dragonfly eyes have about 30,000 lenses, they can see nearly 360 degrees.
