Beautiful footage there Patrick, great editing and your colour corrections where stunning ( did you use LUTS). I have had my Mavic Pro 1 for nearly 2 years and have been really happy with its performance, its been a great learning Drone, but after having seen the clarity of your video from the Mavic 2 its another step again and will most likely acquire one in the coming months. Again well done and I have subscribed and look forward to your future videos.

Thank you very much mate. It's dynamic range is great. I used luts and a little tweaking of the colours. You'll be seeing the great barrier reef on my next video in far north Queensland. Stat tuned :)

i'm so impressed with some of your movements: moving around an object while turning camera to follow it while changing altitute and changing camera tilt, all at the same time. Does your mavic do time lapse? or is that all post production?

I must admit, not quite comparable. But some of my footage is not too bad either. I enjoyed Melbourne surrounds, but even more Uluru earlier in the film. Oz is really the place to fly a done :-)

Sweeeeeeet! Do you by chance recommend any good LUTS for editing in post production? I just got the DJI Mavic Pro 2 & I'm excited to see how the footage turns out! I'm trying to find some great LUTS for the drone footage. 😀

Hi Rachel, I appreciate your comment and feedback very much. 164 subs is huge for me. I know its still a piece of dust in the youtube world but to me it means a lot. I hope to keep growing. I really enjoy making these videos. I am not doing it to make money . I already have a good job for that. This is purely hobby :) Drones give you a different perspective of landscapes, they are amazing pieces of technology. Id love to visit New Zealand. I will convince the wife some day. And my drone will be coming haha

ITs my very first drone, some of the footage I did when I only had it a month. Id say its easy to fly but just need to get your head around all the options that are available to you. I think that bit is just a case of memorising them. But I thnk its pretty easy to learn yeh.. I am sure I will get better though over time and thank you very much for your feedback

The camera on the drone is fixed Its a Hasselblad with a 1inch sensor. Which is very good for its size. Its not a GoPro camera, Thats the GoPro Karma drone. I have a Sony a7 that has 2 lenses with no fisheye but you can always fix the fisheye later

it is all 4k @ 30 fps. Check your automatic stream settings when playing. IT will stream at lower resolutions if your internet connection is poor
