This drive is along the southern shoreline of the Island of Montreal,-about 15 km southwest of downtown Montreal-beginning in the Montreal suburb of Lachine (south central) to Pointe-Claire ("West Island"). The body of water seen to the left is the St. Lawrence River. As the video begins we're being driven along Boul. St-Joseph, then as we continue westward it becomes Boul. Bord-du-Lac/Lakeshore Blvd. (Dorval to Ponte-Claire)
Incredible, you managed to actually drive somewhere, past a block. Feels like a fever dream to not see all the orange for miles on end.
Great driving tour ❤

Notice that in some neighbourhoods the stop signs say "ARRÊT", and in others they say "STOP"? That's because in the areas where there's a majority English-speaking population they have the right to post signs in English and/or bilingual FR/ENG. I know that "STOP" is also a valid word in French, but it's generally not used here in Quebec, since it's use may be frowned upon in French majority areas (which is about 90% of Quebc, but only about 60% of the Montreal area).

As a Canadian I can confirm that your assessment is incorrect. Yes there is similar parts but not just of the USA. All the cities in the world have similarities.

Beautiful! What area of Montreal is this?
Très beau couché de soleil et très beau quartier ! C'est normal qu'on voit des mots en anglais ?
@Trailventure

Merci pour ton commentaire, c’est une partie de Montréal où il y a pas mal de québécois anglophones, la raison pour laquelle on voit des mots en anglais.

Of course it is not everyone is French there
Finally we get to see how the upper crust lives. More signs that read as "stop" not arret. Maximum 30 is what? MPH or KPH?
Siempre una vaina coñazo

Guys, how do you treat English speaking people in Montreal? I would love to come to Montreal but unfortunately I don't speak French. Will I experience some kind of bullying?

Oui c'est bien, tu vas aimer le Canada
The quality of asphalt, roads, streets, sidewalks, and urban planning in Canadian cities, especially Montreal, is more reminiscent of a third-world country than that of a developed nation. Vandalism and graffiti are unsightly and uncivilized issues in Montreal.
