[4K] Berlin Germany City Summer Walk in 2020 - Neukölln Market on Maybachufer
This 4K video tour in Berlin City, Germany offers a great way to enjoy a virtual market walk and Berlin city on a hot summer day in August 2020. I am walking in Neukölln, Maybachufer to the Farmers' Market. Berlin is the capital and largest city of Germany.

With 3.9 Million inhabitants make it the most populous city proper of the European Union. It is surrounded by the state of Brandenburg, and contiguous with Potsdam, Brandenburg's capital. The two cities are at the center of the Berlin-Brandenburg capital region, which is Germany's third-largest metropolitan region after the Rhine-Ruhr and Rhine-Main regions. Berlin straddles the banks of the River Spree, which flows into the River Havel in the western borough of Spandau. Among the city's main topographical features are the many lakes in the western and southeastern boroughs. Oriental spreads and many vendors with fabrics and odds and ends galore - all this and more can be found at the weekly farmers' market on Maybachufer. You will feel like being on an Oriental bazaar when visiting this market on Maybachufer with its many market stalls. The market is located on Berlin-Neukölln's Kottbusser Brücke between Kottbusser Damm and Schinkestraße.
I am starting this walk at the Kottbusser Tor Station then walking towards the Maybachufer until I reach the Neukölln Farmers' Market. I will then show you a bit of the market until I reach Kottbusser Bridge again where I finish my walk.

That is a wonderful video. What body of water is that, is it part of the Spree river? Some of the apartment buildings are very classy looking, are they pre or post world war?

Thank you so much again for tuning in!! :) The Landwehr Canal, or Landwehrkanal in German, is a 10.7-kilometre long canal parallel to the Spree river in Berlin, Germany, built between 1845 and 1850. I think many buildings were built post world war but I’m not 100% sure about it!
I really like the architecture of a lot of those riverside buildings. I wonder how it is to live there. The immediate areas around subway stations (Schönleinstraße and Kottbusser Tor) are a bit... uh... rowdy but the riverside is beautiful, there is a market every Friday and it's super easy to get to work on a bike because it's central enough and you follow the canal/river in either direction and have a beautiful commute.
