I arrived in Malaysia, which was the first stop on my Southeast Asia trip. Malaysia's capital is Kuala Lumpur, and it's also a transit point on my way to my final destination, Penang. When I landed, my flight brought me to Terminal 2, and I had to go through immigration for about 10 minutes. The immigration process was pretty straightforward. They asked me, "How long will you be staying?" and "Where will you be heading next?" So, I answered those two questions. Unlike most airports where I find a long structure lined up on both sides when I exit the arrivals hall, at Kuala Lumpur Airport (KLIA), I need to walk straight to the front to find transportation to the city.
There are three main options to get from the airport to the city: train, bus, and taxi. I chose the bus, which cost me RM15. Finding the boarding area was a bit tricky because it's on a different floor. I managed to document my entire journey from stepping off the plane to reaching KL Sentral. So, come along and virtually experience Malaysia with me!
