WOW! Switzerland is beautiful.
Images magnifiques de la Suisse et des images surréalistes de trains dans les rues de Chur . Contrairement à la France la Suisse à l'esprit pratique ! Et dire qu'à Nancy nous ne sommes pas fichu d'avoir un tram digne de ce nom . Merci lorirocks pour le spectacle .

Guten Abend lorirocks und Paolo - ein wunderschönes Video mit eindrücklichen Bildern. Diese Strecke erinnert mich immer an meine Kinderzeit, als wir im ersten Haus rechts im Sassal gewohnt haben (ca. 1958) - damals bestand nicht nur die Haltestelle, sondern auch noch die Anlagen der Sassal Mineralquellen. Später als Lehrling der RhB hatte ich dann einen Bahnbegehungs-Ausweis und bin dann einmal die ganze Strecke Chur-Arosa abgelaufen - ein unvergessliches Erlebnis! Herzlichen Dank für Eure Arbeit und die vielen Infos zur Strecke - liebe Grüsse Remo

1962-1967 christmas week each year, was lucky enough to go skiing in Arosa. We got there by this fantastic railway. Happy memories!!! Grazie mille, Paolo e Lorirocks Vielen danke :)
I took this train to Arosa once in the off season. A lady on the train was kind enough to check the notice at the station and point out the hotel that was open. I was the only guest. It was autumn and everything was being prepared for the ski season. After checking the weather I went walking up in the mountains. Had to jump a few small streams as the (very small) bridges had been removed in preparation for the winter season. I got some stares as this apparently unprepared for winter person came hiking down the path. A nice town that obviously lives on tourism, but then that is the largest business in San Francisco too.

Quel ponte lunghissimo nella neve è davvero impressionante, solo a me ricorda Indiana Jones 3 con il cammino del pellegrino? :D Comunque, anche se passo spesso da Tirano non credo che mi abituerò mai ai treni che diventano come i tram in mezzo alle auto! Grazie ancora!

В нашем Саратове ещё меньше снега. Так тоже хочется снежной зимы. Но климат меняется, казахстанские степи наступают. Зима с каждым годом приходит всё позже, а весна наступает всё раньше

Как жаль, что это электровоз скоро остановится на долго. Можно сделать тепловоз, тогда ёлок не будет. Тогда можно на дрезине с ручным приводом! Швейцарцы не благодарите меня за идею, все для вас, для вашего благополучия. А красоту такую берегите, она Сибирь напоминает....

Went skiing with Aristotle High School (South London) in 1963. Took this train route every day! Stayed in Langwies and skied in Arosa. 1963 - the bad winter year - could have skied on the South Downs!
