I was just a normal office worker and my life was just work! work! work! There was never time to play guitar.
As a result of circumstances that have changed our world, I now work from home, and my daily 4hr commute has come to an end.
With more time and energy, I decided to start my KZread Channel to make new friends with similar interests.
So why am I dressed like a Viking?
I wanted to do something fun and creative with my channel, so I came up with the “Viking" concept, an adventurer who’s always searching for the ultimate pleasure tone.
I don’t know everything about guitar. I’m just a normal guy who appreciates guitar hero’s like Reb Beach, Steve Vai, and Joe Satriani stretching back 30 years.
My goal is to uncover mysteries, share techniques, discover new gear, and involve you in the excitement.
I hope you’ll join the journey with me to explore the ultimate pleasure tone!

Such a great drummer! A joy to watch and listen to and not just put his kit on roller coaster rails and stop every 30 seconds to swear at the crowd. Winger was so underrated it’s terrible. Nothing but incredible talent in that band.

Being a left handed drummer myself.... Rod Morgenstein is one of my all time favorite drummers. The Dixie Dregs are amazing!

Thank you so much for posting this! Longtime fan of Dixie Dregs & Winger. I love this solo because it shows just how incredibly well Rod can play in a musical context. Anyone can thrash about and play lots of notes and fast rolls, but only someone with Rod's impeccable timing, skill and groove can play at this level Completely locked on with an ensemble. One of my favorite drummers ever and an incredibly nice guy as well. Rock on!

One of the finest on the globe 🌎 Rod was also or maybe still is? A drum professor at Berklee! From the Dixie Dregs/Dregs what a phenomenal player. I can't believe Joe Lynn Turner auditioned him before he joined Winger and said "he was the worst drummer he'd ever heard" ?? Imagine? He also did some amazing music with Dream Theaters keyboard player for any fans "not aware" of that check it out you won't be sorry its awesome "Morganstien/Rudess "

@@ALTheGuitarViking not sure what it was your interested you weren't specific but if you meant the music with him and Jordan Rudess just do a search on here for "Morganstien Rudess" and you'll get some music. Great stuff! The Joe Lynn Turner story he talks about in interviews I've watched and apologize I can't remember the exact ones now you'd just have to watch some interviews, I believe one was ROD MORGANSTIEN FROM DIXIE DREGS TO WINGER or something like that but you'd just have to watch some interviews. But the music I mentioned is easy to find 👍 it's actually called Rudess Morganstien project
