each to their own. The shaders gravitate towards light sources/extracting bright colours, which is why when there are very dark spots, the player icon is extremely bright and glowy compared to where the light sources are more spread out

The level would look better if you turned down the player glow. Then I would prefer this over the original

I like this more than the regular but the regular one shines in the sense of hell theme, this one is just more aesthetically pleasing to me

You should have chosen a bit less bright icon colour as in some parts it’s impossible to focus on the level because the icon is so glowy

Curved screen mimics the human eye's FOV which makes it more realistic than flat The "RTX" glow (depending on reshade configs) target bright colours to create lights and shadows, with the bloom shader extracting from bright colours to create the glow. That's why the player icon is so glowy in the darkest spots of the level but it looks completely different in the brighter parts. It's also why on brighter levels with more spread out glow compared to this dark level that RTX works better. It's like wondering why a flashlight is so damn bright in a dark tunnel but looks different on a sunny day... I don't get why there are so many complaints about it when that's simply how the shaders work, and literally how the level itself is designed.
