Not for me no.

This camera promised a lot from the beginning, but it is what it is for the price it comes. I'll say for serious filmmakers or aspiring producers it won't work, but if you plan on just taking clips and snapping them together without much process, it might work for it. With that bitrate, you can't expect something amazing. Great review dude! I loved your take on it and it helped me realize "4k 60fps" it's not everything a camera is supposed to be all about. Cheers

Sometimes I almost think that Amazon sells more low grade cameras than high quality cameras

Like others money is something I can't afford to waste during these times of needs versus wants. That being said, I've been watching for a decent camera setup for my sons. I want to thank you for being the man that you are and sharing your knowledge with me and others.

Returning this camera, wish I saw this review before I ordered it.

The best camcorder for around 200 is the Sony CX405 👌🏼 you might want to check it out. Shoots 50 bitrate 60 x Zoom, and it's a great handycam. I hope this helps

Sony 24P Hi-Def. cameras offer better video & stable codecs. Chinese clones are probably 8-16MP upscaled.

Yeah I don't recommend this camera I would recommend you get anything but I shouldn't say that much but I don't recommend it

Great, one of the few guys who knows how to do a propper review of this kind of stuff.

Was looking at this for my son to get into filming. I know the review is a year old but 4k 60p would be a heavy file for even this cam Corder I'd assume. Thus having quick storage to keep up with the data coming in is a must. I have a bmpcc4k and I have to use an ssd to keep up with the data coming in. Idk if ppl pay attention to the actual speed of Sd cards they buy, but even my dji mini drone warns me that my sd card import speed is slow if i choose the wrong one. Thank you for the review!

Not needed, but nice to have for sure! New budget setup is about to be an old iPhone, a battery bank, the small rig smartphone stabilizer, a VXR-10 mic, lightning to 3.5mm adapter, and the filmic pro video app.

There is no decent vlogging camera under $430 - $500. Under that it's just a world of pain.

How i can active the microphone? I put mic there but it is not active. The voice come out very Bad.

Love this video! All the info with no fluff. I’m looking for a camera I can leave on a tripod on the beach while I surf. I’ve seen the Soloshot and it doesn’t fit the bill. Too expensive, too buggy. Also, I am usually between 100-500 feet from the camera and don’t move around more than 100 feet laterally. My thought was that with 4k, I could edit later to zoom in and remove some of the background. Does that make sense? I’m not looking to publish the video, it’s mostly just for my own use. Using it to train technique etc. I feel like this camera would work for me. Do you have other suggestions?

No this camera will not work for you either get a camera with good zoom or better yet use a 360 camera like the Insta360 One X3 camera and film yourself in the water.

In this similar 4k hd camera. I am not able to transfer video file from handicamers by usb camera. At least usb button is also not available on this camera.

Try removing the memory card and transferring from the memory card.

Do it work on tv without recording?

No I did not make a video about the Wi-Fi feature on here in fact I don't recommend this camera for anyone because I felt the image quality was so poor that you would get better quality out of a budget smartphone that would cost less money.

I use the Sony RX0II and it's an awesome little camera not the cheapest but awesome for what I use it for.

No! I don’t recommend it at all. I say shoot it with your cellphone first if you have too.

No I would not I would recommend that you go get a mirrorless camera of some sort if you don't have a much of a budget I would recommend you getting a smartphone the image quality on smartphone even the lowest iPhone is going to be better than this camera.

Imagequality is really awfull, ok, its cheap, but it doesnt`t match up the specs. They should say it`s 720p and I am fine with it.

hello! i was wondering if the you've experienced any sound delay with this camera. i was hooking the camera up to my tv and i started to notice the sound was delayed even when it wasn't hooked up. do you know how i might be able to fix that?

@@TodayIFeelLike yeah i think it mightve been a storage issue or maybe i didnt format it yet(i was having issues putting the SD card in because I didn't want to pressure it too hard)because once i formatted it(i lost my videos and photos sadly) and started recording videos for testing, the sound wasn't delayed.

Oh, man... that camera was turbo-trash. I bet a bargain-basement smartphone would do better in comparison (both video and photo mode). Still, like always, another great review.

RoadCam [I just got this camera and downloaded the app that an unboxing KZreadr said goes with this camera. I haven't used the app yet though. I did record some footage last night, but I can't seem to hear it on the playback. I think I'm going to have to use an SD reader instead. Fingers crossed.

This camera was absolute garbage. You don't address the fact that neither the video nor the picture quality *looks* anywhere near 4k? The footage I took looked like it was taken by a VHS camera from the 90s, not even HD let alone 4k.
