When you visit Riga and then watch this film you realise how much was lost during the war

Yes the train station for example that you see in this video. In liepaja the old train station still stands. Several other buildings as well, for example the techical university building from the soviet times. Zemes dienesta building and many more. But overall a lot of it has been preserved as well, good enough for unesco inclusion. In agenskalns and Maskavas forsete for example it's full of old houses. In Grīziņkalns too and many other parts of riga

My comments were simply an observation, Riga is an absolutely magnificent city full of old world charm and sympathetic modern developments. They've done an excellent job preserving the old town@@dreamthedream8929
