The Midlands is a favourite for us in KZN. It's a kids paradise with lots of pet friendly options around. It's picturesque beauty and tranquillity makes you feel like you never want to leave. Midlands is nestled inland in KZN, about a 2 hour drive from Durban. Our video shows a brief overview of some of the things you can do there, but there is so much more. From the action packed go carting, to skilled horse riding or even just a peaceful, luxury spa treatment, you will find it all in the lush, farm atmospheric destinations of the Midlands.
When we visit the Midlands, we never leave out a stop at the famous, Piggly Wiggly. It offers a perfect first stop after a long drive for stretching your legs while the little one/s have a blast doing numerous activities around this location; train rides, dinosaur activities, reptile park, putt-putt, candle making, jungle gyms, zip-lines. There are also plenty of stores that has something for everyone. If you're looking for a bite to eat, you definitely won't be short of options here either.
