Farking brilliant, been following this engine and the build of your Lux for a few years now and love the constant tinkering. I'm a huge fan of the 4agze and have an fx zs Corolla with one and 3 spare engines in the shed. Would love to build something like this one day but know a lot more than doing an engine conversion has gone into this absolutely brilliant build. Nothing but respect for you from over the ditch here in Australia.

OH MY GOD! This video made me very happy! The sound and power with the flat bed HiLux chassis is stealth and meant to be. I love the idle up the incline. Hahahaha! Proves a point visually indeed. The last sideways rip past the camera was Hoonigan cinematic. Awesome. Wth have I been doing?! Subscribed. Now I have to work backwards through the content to get caught up.

FUCKN wicked truck. My 86 hilux wish it had that kinda power and revving on the high end. 22r with mods is very grunty down low and in midrange but not much in the horsepower high rpm lol. My buddy has an 85 solid axle lux with a 7mgte swap in it. It ridiculous on a hole shot and that straight 6 turbo sound. U got an Awsome truck dude

same as any other 4age. 4agze pistons. silvertop/smallport rods with arp's and some valve springs. fire some boost at it. easy

@Rusty Climber I know that a 4age its not a transmission, its an engine that was originally developed by Yamaha and there are various types depending on the mods and the year which they were produced, but thanks for the info, its good to have more knowledge by some one that knows what he is talking about, thanks and have a nice day

Pretty sure he was asking if it was using transmission that is usually behind a 4age. Which is a T50 from an ae86, corolla /levin/trueno .

Afraid to add up cost. With anything like this most of the cost is in the labour. Have spend hundreds of hours on it, almost 100% of the work was done by myself .

engine is built to factory 4azge spec with some arp hardware and some headwork, porting and springs. rest is bolt ons

Not that i have seen. some basic stuff that you can do, is take the sharp edges off in the chambers de-shielding the valves in the process. just behind the valves in the ports they usually have some bumps that can be tided up also. dont take too much out or will just loose low end power

Will go good in an ae86. This engine actually came out of my my ae85, but had different turbo on it. couple of vids of it on this channel if you look back a bit..
