    I love the eagles but the level of calmness and sportsmanship that kittle showed to everyone on the field is crazy. You can definitely tell he’s a great guy off the field too

    Literally everything that could go wrong did go wrong in this game. Not many teams reach that point with 3rd string QB but then to lose your backups and having to adjust AND keep that dawg on you?! Crazy. Mad respect for everyone on the field that day and for Purdy trying to keep throwing.

    Well, yeah. Lost their starting QB early to season-ending injury. Lost 2nd stringer, who had a host of victories, mid-season to season-ending injury. Lost third-stringer, who had a host of victories, in conference final to season-ending injury. Then lost 4th stringer in conference final to season-ending injury. I'd say that's a bad run injury-wise.

    Sad way to end a legendary run. Feel so friggin bad for Purdy. He had a rare opportunity, absolutely stunned everyone by stepping in and proving himself. Terrible we didn't get to see if he could keep his streak going.

    Hawks fan here. The 49ers story of resilience and overcoming this season has been incredible. Yall repped the NFC West well. Purdy gave his all. Defense was great. Kittle is a legendary leader.     Kittle is a great example of the type of personality in a team that uplifts everyone with positivism. Not in your face, yelling and screaming, just simply with an ethusiasm that is contagious. Coaches should strive to make their players have this kind of attitude during their formation

    Listen, I dislike the 9ers (in my division) they’re a bunch a bullies… meaning, they’re incredibly good, SO GOOD. They deserved that game. They’re definitely the better team. These Eagles fans bragging about beating a 15yr 4th string QB in an NFC Championship game is weak as fuck. Don’t get me wrong the Eagles are good, their lines make everything click.     I think this should be shown to school children. Very inspiring in terms of how to face adversity and to lose without feeling bitter and sore. George Kittle was just not phased from beginning to end and Fred Warner takes us through the emotions of the game and then hugs it out with his bros. This was awesome!

    I loved this team so much. Such a fun and exciting season. Wish they had a real shot in this game with Brock. Wanted to see this be a great game. Always FTTB

    Coming back to watch this after the way the 49ers season has started makes you understand how badly they want it. As an Eagles fan I say "Bring it on". We will see you in the playoffs. Hopefully at the Championship game so we can settle this straight up!

    Yeah. Someone got paid that day. 3 4th downs that led to TDs. Our Defense was Monster. Held the hyped Hurts to 121 Yards. That si clouding the 29 yrd catch that wasn't a catch. So really he threw for less than 100 yards. Think about that for a second...then ask urself....did the refs affect the game? Hell yeah they did.

    I actually watched football for the first time in over a decade because of Purdy and what he was bringing in a potential first time ever rookie QB run to the super bowl. Heart breaking for him and hope he recovers quickly.

    This was so sad. I firmly believe it would have been an exciting game otherwise. McCaffery's touchdown reminded me of 'Old School' NFL Football. (70's-80's-90's) It was a beauty to behold. Even though I had no dog in this fight I am now rooting for Kansas City. However the Superbowl plays out I truly hope it is an exciting game.
