    Demeco said if Dre doesn’t get injured, we win that game. He shut out Kelce in the first half. When the sub came in, Kelce had 9 catches for 92 yards. 😢

    Happens sometimes. I once watched a UFC Middleweight Championship fight between Anderson Silva and Patrick Cote, in the third Cote flinched oddly and tore his knee. It was especially disappointing because Silva was in his prime when he was destroying everyone and Cote had brought him further than anyone in very recent memory.

    Greenlaw going down 100% had an effect on the outcome of that game. That short pass after short pass across the middle shit Mahomes did to drive down the field never would have been so successful had he been on the field. But Feliciano going down definitely played it's role because that missed block would not have happened. Everybody looks at the defense to blame because they got the last TD but in my eyes defense is the only reason we stayed in it.

    Greenlaw imo. I think we stop them more and have more of a cushion for our offense, so we wouldn't need Burford to be trying to think for himself on the biggest play of the game and messing up his assignment.

  • @rhmayer1
    @rhmayer123 күн бұрын

    Dre had the midfield locked down. When he went down, Reid and Mahomes licked their lips and targeted that midfield, especially Burks. But not only did the pass completions by Mahomes go up, Mahomes ran it up the middle a few times to convert and extend TD drives. No question Dre leaving injured was ONE of several things that if had not happened then the 49ers win. Still - what a fantastic season! Best wishes for Dre's FULL recovery!!

    One thought ... it's a long season. Guys bodies wear down and become more injury prone as the season goes along. Look at the way defenses were targeting Deebo's shoulder and trying to injure him. Which means that during the season, different guys need to get enough reps so that they're ready - I mean really ready - when someone goes down. Like the way Brock was ready when Jimmy went down. Brock went in and elevated the whole team. Sure, Brock is elite. But every guy needs to be elite at his position. I don't know if that would work out in reality, but it's a thought.
